Paris tour

Thursday 29 October
Bus tour around Paris. Saw all the highlights even sheep grazing in a park in the middle of the city.
Excited when I saw the Eiffel Tower for the first time even if half was in the clouds.
After the tour walked through a department store. Beautifully decorated ready for Xmas. All the top labels. All we could afford to do was observe the prices.

Fast train from amps tread to Paris. Fast and comfortable only 3 hour trip. Passed through three counties in the tine-Netherlands, Belgium and France .

Bus ride to our so called 5 star motel called Scribe. Large rooms, very old motel and prices for food alcohol outside our price range.

Found nice cheaper cafés near buy. Walking tour with our guide.

Canals of Amsterdam

Tuesday 27 October
Amsterdam is one of the prettiest places we visited with a few unique things.
Went on a Canal tour in the afternoon. Interesting hearing about the history of the canals.
Last dinner on the boat.
A must do tour I was told I could not miss was the red light district at night. We all set of with our guide about 9.30. Not sure how you would describe it. Ladies sitting in windows offering themselves. Very demeaning I thought.

Windmills and Canals of Amsterdam

Enjoyed a bit of quintessential Holland at Zaanse Schans, with its windmills and open-air conservation area.

    Saw windmills working-grinding rock of painting restoration, Clog making and Dairy farm.
