Tuesday 3 November
Harbour Cruise, Chinese Dinner or a floating restaurant and then a trip up Victoria Mountain to see the lights. Amazing how some buildings go to so much trouble to display exciting lights. One changed from Koala, Leggo and then to a smiley face.

Honk Kong Day 3
Tuesday 3 October
The Land Between Tour. Excellent. Out of the City to see the The New Territories. Great tour guid-very informative.
Visited a Yuen Yuen Institute which is a religious complex catering for the three religions of Hong Kong.
Went up the highest mountain Tai Mo Shan. Watched a school excursion group cooking there lunch on BBQ. Not possible in the city.
Then to a Walled Village-so narrow to walk through-do not know how they live so close in narrow 3 story buildings.
Saw waterfall (well just a waterfall), monument and submerged fish farms under boats.
Lunch in Chinese restaurant.
Good to see the real Hong Kong.
Yuen Yuen Institute
60 Warriors for the years you were born. This is my year
Uo the mountain we found a dog serving at the canteen
school kids cooking their lunch
House in Walled village. About the width of my arm span.
Our view of China. Even though Hong Kong is part of China you need a visa to go there
Bridal Veil Falls
A very large monument
Panda Bear artworks near our Motel
Fishing farms

Hong Kong Day 2
Monday 2 October
Left Hotel 8am for tour of island. Except for our guide who talked constantly about money and costs and not the history of Hong Kong or where we were.
Drove to harbour and told if we wanted a ride around the harbour it would cost $60 HK ($12 aust) Not impressed this was not part of the cost of the tour. Got to see house and fishing boats, fish drying and other interesting things.
Visit to Diamond factory
Bus to Stanley markets.
Up Mount Victoria for a look around. Cannot believe how crowed the skyscrapers are and their height. Highest one 114 floors. Had to come back down mountain in a cable tram-Jan did it despite her fear of heights.
Jan and I on the Junk Boat
Floating restaurant
High Buildings
Fishing and house boats
Tallest building
Bamboo used for scaffolding
Cable Tram
Our view to the harbour at night
